Meet the Trainer

With over 10 years of professional experience, Natalie is thrilled to service the Colorado Springs greater area. Natalie’s career with dogs began in the world of dog daycare and boarding and she was quickly emersed in the world of canine behavior. After adopting her second dog, River, she quickly learned that there was more to dog behavior than play groups and dog parks - River was displaying aggressive behavior towards other dogs and people. Natalie made it her mission to learn everything she could about behavior modification and obedience training to help River live his best life.

After training River to the point where he was off-leash hiking, obedient in city environments and well-behaved in the home, her career shifted to helping other people with their dogs. For over 5 years, Natalie was the head dog trainer in a highly respected training facility in Denver. She spent 5 years working with dogs of varying temperment, size and scope of behavioral issues. From board and train programs, private lessons and daytraining, Natalie has done it all!

Upon moving to Colorado Springs, the idea of Tamed Canine was born. Natalie is a professional member of the International Association of Canine Professionals, a highly respected organization.

Natalie, who is born and raised in Colorado, is honored to bring Tamed Canine to life in El Paso and Douglas County.
